Mountaineers -23 1/2 vs Orangemen This should be an easy victory over Syracuse this week for West Virginia at the Mountaineers home field in Morgantown.
The Orangemen defense have consistently let their opponent’s offense score seemingly at will by giving up 30 or more points in every contest this season. Luckily, Syracuse have gotten one victory in five games this season, but unless the defense have learned how to stop their opponents from scoring, then this will almost certainly be another loss for the Orangemen.
Though the Mountaineers will most likely improve to 4-2 after the victory over Syracuse, they have not lived up to their expectations this season at 3-2 so far. After WVU quarterback Pat White went down against Rutgers last week the chance of the Mountaineers turning their disappointing season around doesn’t look good.
Although White is only at probable status for the game against Syracuse this week, WVU should still come out on top regardless of whether or not the talented quarterback is able to get on the gridiron.
Expect the Mountaineers to put up some big points this week if White is ready to go come game time.
