Competition drives the prices down, and it is the policy holder that can reap the benefits.
Lower prices aren’t everything though. It is important to judge the quality of the company before spending your hard earned money. If a policy saves you $100 a year, but you can’t get a claim filed when you need it, does it save you anything in the long run?
