By Zeu zzz Category: 0 Submit your Articles Here! While articles are so wide used these days they’re useless … unless they’re exposed to a big audience. There is no doubt articles have a big impact on websites traffic. Today’s subject is search trends and how you can use article writing to drive some quick traffic to your website. All of you know what Google trends serves for and what you can do with it. If you don’t know that, you can go and do some research to find out more. Basically, google trends is a database of reports and it’s based on user queries over a given period of time. So, let’s say you were interested in how many searches are made monthly on the keyword “article marketing”. You simply go to google trends and find that out. Don’t expect to see numbers there. They only give you enough information to make an idea and be able to check its flow, if it’s searched more or less than in the past. If you still need to know some numbers, you can use the keyword tool. It can be found in the adwords system (provided by google as well) and it will give you an approximate number for the searches that are being made for a given keyword, say “article marketing” in our case. Ok, let’s say we have some numbers now and for the keyword “article marketing” there are 100 people searching each day, so, basically, 100 people seeing the first results page. Here’s what you need to do: you need to get there, on the first page! How can you do that ? It’s a pretty simple process. What you need to do is to write a good article related to that topic. And it must be optimized for that keyword (if you don’t know what SEO is, do some google searches and you will find enough articles to explain you how to play with keywords density and so on). When you’re finished writing and optimizing, post that article on your website’s blog. If you don’t have one, setup one (on your website or on a hosted platform like blogspot.com). The next thing you need to do is let others know you have posted that article. One thing to consider is pinging specialized blog update services on the www, but that’s done automatically by default by wordpress (if you choose to run your blog with wordpress) so no much to do on that. Other thing to consider, and here’s where I wanted to bring you, is letting social bookmarking sites know about your article. Let’s pick digg.com for this example. Digg has a good ranking on the web, so it would help you for sure. You now need to go to digg.com and submit your article/story. If you don’t have an account with digg I suggest you create one right now. “Tadaaaaa” :) Yup, this is it. There’s nothing else to do now but wait. Google will go and index digg in the near future and find your article in, and, hopefully, if your article is well optimized, your headline will be placed on a good spot in google serps. Now the 100 people searching for “article marketing” each day will see your post and might click on it and get on your website. That’s what I call quick traffic. Go ahead and try it and see the results.
